AURAL aims to explore the learning gains of students enrolled in Bournemouth University’s Undergraduate Research Assistantship Programme, thereby contributing to a growing literature on ‘students as researchers’. It considers ‘students as partners’ through a participatory monitoring and evaluation process.
The project involves a cohort of undergraduate researchers in co-producing the research’s lines of enquiry (their learning goals) and in the elaboration of reflective diaries of their research experiences.
Blog posts will be generated about the process of conducting this research during the first semester of 2016. News and research material on the diary method will also be included here.
This project is supported by a CEL-Fusion Fund grant from Bournemouth University.
